A late afternoon in a forested area near the edge affords a red sun through the trees that fills the area with light and shadows. A deadly battle rages between the hero cards as they try to gain new magic weapons to increase their chances of victory. Find and track quests in the quest tower to earn additional rewards. Additionally, confront invasions coming from the south and deal with General Tso's talents. The generals are connected by red arrows and arranged in a zigzag line. Additional stars must be earned to unlock the next area after winning a battle.

The Three Kingdoms war held a wide variety of military leaders. Their design is incredibly precise and elaborate. Quick wins with speed are needed. Following each magic spell, Evalina radiates green energy from her clothes. A plump general with an absentminded face named Spender moves idly beside her. A young infantryman stands proudly in his bronze armor, clutching a spear as an energy gray hat with rich phoenix feathers falls over his shoulders. Longfellow is the legendarygod of thunder; wherever he goes,blue thunderbolts follow. His sword is said to possessfierce power.

Players can equip their champion with hats, armor, flags, pants, shirts and shoes. They can also use swords, belts and flags as weapons. Card generals can be seen entering the battle via a hat trick; however, they can still be upgraded, clothed and equipped. Before increasing your character's level, upgrade items to increase indicators. Doing so increases attack stats each turn. This helps players maximize their stats in each attack. Higher level items provide greater rewards and increase the amount of blood a character has during a battle. They also have more intricate, majestic designs that draw the eye.

After winning a skirmish, you can occupy the area's map of missions. These locations host different missions with different strengths and weaknesses. Dirt and snow cover the ground, obscuring the forest’s edge and trees. Scattered throughout the forest are broken tree stumps and animal carcasses. Nearby, an abandoned and decrepit stone capital lies in ruins. The area is eerily white, with no color whatsoever except for snow that erases any cliffs or leaves. At the end of the game, players face the purple boss battle instead of the usual rectangular table. A different table with many rounded corners lies next to it. These tables hold all of the player's wins in 19 other arenas. New abilities and rewards can be unlocked after territory battles. In addition to that, players can collect moon-element stones, magic and new outfits and equipment. Additionally, scuffle officers add new skills to explore. The gray and white coin motif continues with the gold coin, which also never disappears from sight. Additionally, the bars never lose sight of gold.
