Gameplay
Door Kickers: Action Squad is a dramatic 2D game that features retro style graphics. However, it's also just a regular action title with no 3D maneuvering capabilities. As the commander of a SWAT team, you participate in a Single Mission where you must infiltrate the terrorist's base to rescue hostages being held captive. Because of the lack of a power source in your mission areas, night combat becomes part of your assignment. Every law enforcement agent carries a flashlight affixed to their firearm. They shoot anyone who moves if they detect someone nearby. Doing so quickly benefits the situation, but it also risks killing the hostages. Any SWAT member can cause a blockage when missing proper movement instructions. As long as you keep track of their movement, you can easily drag your finger across the touchscreen to direct each team member. Naturally, this control sounds easy enough. But make sure you pay attention to the movement of each SWAT to avoid any obstructionist tactics.
