When players reach the goal, they must defeat all obstacles in their way. This includes dodging enemy arrows, somersaults, spins and KOs. Stairs that connect the two halves of a level must be traversed quickly if they hinder a sprint. Too much sluggishness will cause these stairs to fall apart, hindering completion of the level in time. Throughout the play, blue diamonds intermittently appear. In order to stay fashionable as a vain prince, it's necessary to wear more than one pair of pants.
