The Legend of Bum-Bo is the prequel to The Binding of Isaac, which is a popular video game. Bum Bo is an imaginary cardboard man who lives happily in a recycling bin and coins. He lives in a handsome box at the top of a hill. The game contains scary and disgusting images due to its cartoon design. It also contains gore, drugs and violent images; so the game is recommended for audiences 17 years old and older. Additionally, players encounter bone, poop and monstrous monsters in space.
Gameplay
After defeating hundreds of bosses, stray kids, monsters and mentally unstable people, players must solve puzzles like match-3 games in order to defeat more bosses. However, these puzzles aren't exactly the same as match-3 puzzles. A Movement Unit moves a full row or column to link up to four other items such as poops, bones or fluids for additional attack power. Teeth and bones provide combat ability, while pee gives additional turns.
You start the game with three hearts. Each time you progress through a dungeon, you lose a heart. When you run out of hearts, you lose and have to re-start the first dungeon. If you fail to match anything after two turns, you must contend with one monster attack and lose half your heart. Getting 4 heart icons grants you additional hearts. This allows you to continue playing the game longer before reaching Bum Bos coin. The final step to earning the coin is passing through the door— which you can only do after eliminating all monsters in your way.

You get coins while on your dungeon adventure. Using these coins, you can unlock additional outfits for Bum-Bo; like Bum-Bo the Brave, Bum-Bo the Nimble, Bum-Bo the Stout, Bum-Bo the Weird, and more. Each character has special abilities that give them magic and skills. Bum-Bo the Nimble can deal with damage from any source, including magic, and can also move a row back. Bum-Bo the Stout can resist magic damage and increase damage per turn.

You attack monsters by moving a column or row to collect bones, poop, or fluids. A row of teeth also helps you damage monsters by attacking them.
The game ends if you run out of hearts. You have three hearts, which function as the equivalent of three lives. If you don't manage to match anything after two turns, you must face one monster attack and lose half your heart. Subsequently, you have one heart.
