VidTrim also supports a number of advanced features, including the ability to take pictures in videos and perform file transcoding. This app is ideal for editing files, saving them, and sharing videos with friends— all from within the app itself. VidTrim for Android supports basic functions such as renaming videos, playing videos, and deleting them. This app also supports video rotation and allows users to capture individual frames in a video. VidTrim for Android can also convert video files to MP3 music files. To remove the unnecessary footage from a video using the Crop tool, you first need to select it and press Play to view it. After that, you need to drag the ends of the timeline below to focus on a specific area of the video. This process involves excluding all other footage from the video by making it appear entirely white. Press the Trim button once the video ends to cut the video and create a new video with no footage by cutting the original video. Click the Select Your Choice button in the box to choose trim original to overwrite the original video. Alternatively, you can choose Save As New Clip to create a new video clip. If you want to export audio from the video with special effects to an MP3 file, click Save As MP3. To extract audio from a video, just highlight an icon. That action immediately triggers the extraction process, which is then finished when pressed the Play button. Once completed, it's possible to play the audio again by selecting the icon. To export a frame from a video as an image file, simply select an icon. To export a specific image from a video, you must use your hand to swipe the bar containing frames in the video. After selecting Save Frame, you must choose JPG as the file format for the image. To change the video file from MP4 to another format, click the icon. Effects can be added to videos with VidTrim Pro, which features support for three additional features. Click the Effects icon, then select it to choose Effects and view each one in real time. After you're satisfied with your work, press the Save button to store the file. From the Export Options dropdown menu, choose how large and high-quality your video will be when exported by selecting from one of the options. Then press the Export button to finalize your export.

The program's first window has a collection of videos that have been previously recorded and saved. Touch a video in that window to begin processing it. Near the top of the screen, users can access various tools through a toolbar such as crop, convert video to MP3, or capture video. Click the scissors icon next to the Trim button to open a window. From this menu, users can select which part of the clip they'd like to trim. Next, they must click the scissors icon again once aligned with their desired portion of the clip. This will cause the video to be cut or users can click Save as MP3 to convert the clip into an audio file instead. When you select Trim, the application asks you to choose whether you want to create a new file called a New clip or overwrite an existing file. Select the option you prefer and press Save to save the current file. Alternatively, when choosing VidTrim, choose a new name for the file after creating it. Then press Save to permanently save the change.

Video transcoding programs determine a video's file size and quality by examining the video. Select the video from your program and choose the transcode button next to the scissors icon. Next, the button changes to a gear icon. This website's size is smaller than the video it replicates. After the website is transcoded, the program reduces the video quality with decreased image clarity. VidTrim provides an additional option of adding music to videos. To access this feature, press the speaker icon underneath Video quality. When this is the first time the video has no music added, VidTrim displays No Audio selected. When you click the VidTrim button, a window appears with a Browse pane and an Add Music pane. After completing these steps, press the Transcode button in the corner again to transcode.

To begin recording an MP3 file, you first need to choose the video you want to convert. Click the Save as MP3 button, which is represented by a music note icon, to change the file extension.
