The Disney Mirrorverse is the name of a fictional universe in which heroes and villains live together. The Mickey Mouse universe is one of many stories set in the Mirrorverse, but its setting is reflective instead of literal. In the actual film world, heroes and villains don't live together; they just represent metaphors for good and evil. However, they do live in the fictional world of the Mirrorverse. This reflection-based universe exists on another plane of existence alongside the literal world. Its reflective nature makes it difficult to maintain peace in the physical world. Consequently, a group of evil beings launched an all-out attack on this dimension's most powerful energy source. These forces attempted to wrest control of the energy source from the warriors, who fought back with every resource at their disposal. Powerful warriors face off against a team of thieves who hope to steal the power of the Stellar Mirror. One warrior harnessed all his magic power to repel the thieves and thwart their plans. Before the Champion's strength was depleted from the battle, it sent out a distress call. Saviors appear and fight the evil forces in the Champion's last moment of hope.

Essentially, the Disney Mirrorverse’s story is a promise that will soon be broken. Once you finish exploring this expansive narrative, you enter the combat portion of the game. You start with Princess Rapunzel; however, she looks different from the cartoon princess. During the battle, she charges into a fight and fights monsters that show up. Her ultimate goal is to break each monster into small pieces until they are completely defeated. The player can use skills that match the character's portrait in each attack. These skills have a number— typically between one and three; this is the same number of energy bars the player owns. When used, these skills deplete the energy bars, which allows the player to observe the character's powerful attacks. Additionally, each successful attack earns the player more energy. Many players love meeting new characters because of the Pixar and Disney films they watch. These characters have unique skills that can be deployed during combat. Every character has a specific action that can be performed by pressing an exclamation mark. This doesn’t deplete the character’s energy, so don’t hesitate to use it if you see one.

There are constantly new power-building battles in the Mirrorverse. You'll constantly search for new power sources to add to your team. You can also summon new characters into your army. They exhibit amazing offensive capabilities and support skills. They also excel at attacking enemies in front of them, as well as supporting their allies with exceptional abilities. Their number of available allies changes over time and depending on their level. As you progress through the game, your team positions gradually unlock. This is tied to your current level and is a mechanic that you'll naturally want to figure out. When this happens, you'll have access to new power sources that you just recruited. You can level up your characters quickly if you use the items you get and higher leveled characters. This method is faster than leveling up through battles. A close resemblance between the player and the world's characters exists. Travelers to the Mirrorverse confront Disney and Pixar characters in a war-torn land. The characters travel together and confront their enemies who wish to invade their world's energy. Characters use energy to activate different skills and gain powerful benefits. They also deal significant damage to enemies. The number of characters battling changes with each battle. Levels unlock slots for additional characters. New characters come into the story and play different roles. They gain strength through battle and the use of items.
