Any of the game's starting characters can be chosen when starting NEOVERSE. Each character features different properties and cards; some are called Paladin, Summoner and Agent. This game constantly alternates between defensive and offensive capabilities by using the same set of cards. Anyone who plays this game will be impressed by its combat systems. During the battle, the main character faces off one or more enemies with unique appearances. In parallel, you'll observe five cards dealt simultaneously; to the right of the interface, numerical clues represent the protagonist's power levels. Once chosen, cards can be dragged to a specific in-game object to unleash their particular effects. Combining cards grants the protagonist destructive potential; they must simply drag the card they desire toward their intended target to activate its effect.

Performing specific attacks in NEOVERSE causes the character to permanently activate lasting effects. Doing this allows the character to effectively chain combos and perform powerful attacks with cards and their effects. Additionally, players can earn rewards after every level. One of these rewards is the inclusion of cards in the character's deck. The game's decks contain an unknown number of cards. Each card has a sequential skill system and abilities that can be unlocked through points earned by different means. The number of cards in each deck is dependent on each character's levels, which can be complete differently for different levels. Specific cards can be found in the data store or rewarded after completing different levels. During battle, players control their character to participate in turn-based combat. In order to use a character action card, the player must first use a specific card. Additionally, the number of card activations ensures enough energy in each match. Each character has three different classes that players can decide on. Each class features different abilities that player can cultivate. Adding additional cards to a player's deck continuously increases the number of combos players can create. You can acquire these cards by exploring new areas or collecting various objects in data stores. Points must be used to unlock a skill system with varied effects for each character. ———
