Storyline
American high school student Hans Tannhauser is the main character of the game. During the summer break, he visits a German village called Truberbrook far from his hometown. Tannhauser initially perceived miraculous occurrences while completing his doctoral research. However, he felt unable to adequately convey their significance and foretold the future fate of the world. I know this because I witness these events firsthand. Tannhauser found an archeology professor named Gretchen to assist him with his research. They learned that his odd problem involved a parallel universe after which they studied. What happened at that location and how can I stop it before it's too late?
Gameplay
Truberbrook is an adventure game with Point-and-click gameplay. It also includes puzzles; your goal is to solve these puzzles in order to stop the mysterious events happening in the village. Find the strange goings-on in the village and put a stop to them. Professor Gretchen is an archeology professor who lives and works at Truberbrook. He spends most of his life there, and may be able to answer your questions or those related to the village. He also plays a key role in the game by helping you meet other characters to gather intelligence and find additional clues. Truberbrook features a simplistic game system. The game is played by moving the touch screen in one direction while making visual novel-like decisions. Difficulties also arise when coming up with solutions to puzzles. You need to be extremely creative while also paying attention to your surrounding environment.

Although Truberbrook appears small on first glance, the truth is that it's a medium-sized town. This is because only specific areas of the village are visible to the public. You first travel to areas located inside the village. As the narrative progresses, you visit forests, mountain slopes and cave locations. The scene slowly grows darker as isolated light sources, including fissures and leaves, cast a mysterious and eerie glow. You can find symbols and portals to other worlds when digging through your search. Alternately, you might discover hidden portals to other worlds when looking for specific things.
Graphics
Truberbrook’s 3D graphics come from a handcrafted process. Many gamers who played the game after said they really enjoyed the dreamlike landscape and the realistic feel it gave them. The beauty of nature blends with classic 1960's style in these photographs. They are wild nostalgic. Truberbrook combines the plotlines of The X-Files and the 1995 film Twin Peaks. Its inspiration came from two highly successful movie franchises. Greta Lemke a paleontologist who lives in this town, stands out to him. After moving to this area, he notices that everything is off except for her. A mysterious journey begins after a linking up with another man named Lazarus Taft. And this isn’t the first time that Hans has crossed paths with a mystery person; he was simply passing through on an accidental visit.
Gameplay
Truberbrook is an RPG based on a built-in story that requires players to interact with the environment and items to uncover mysteries. By clicking around in the environment, point-and-click, the player can choose an option or interact with an item. Additionally, Truberbrook’s plot is driven by interactions between the player and the world. We need to wait to see what Headup comes up with next.
